When another January 1st rolled by I told myself I wanted to make a life changing move by the time I was 30. I turned 29 a month later and the plot thickened. The search began for a means of transportation I could live in. Instead of moving, why not explore this great land?! May I found the vehicle. I quickly came to regret that decision as it turned into a longer, highly funded project.

June I resigned my position, collected on a few stocks, broke up with my boyfriend, and left my home. And now I leave Minnesota, the state my family originates from and a place I hold dear. On to a quest into the unknown West, afraid I won’t make it over the mountains, excited to feel the spray of the ocean on my cheek and see my puppy dog run on the beach for her first time.
